LOCK-INS COMING SOON >> DOWNLOAD YOUR REGISTRATION FORM
Our middle school lock-ins are a great opportunity for the young people to get out of the house during the cold winter months and enjoy some time together indoors playing basketball, swimming, games, racquetball or one of the many other activities. Mark your calendars for Jan. 29 (sixth grade) and Feb. 5 (seventh and eighth grade). Both lock-ins are 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at East Hills Athletic Club, 1640 East Paris Ave. SE. YEA (Youth Eucharistic Adoration) begins each Advent and continues through Lent. Seventh and Eighth grade youth commit to one half hour each in the Adoration chapel during exposition of the Eucharist 5-9 p.m. Sundays. Youth are prepped with an understanding of Adoration and how to simply be in the Lord's presence through this celebrated devotion. The program ends in early May with a celebration, including Benediction and a social for the entire parish.
RETREATS for middle school youth are once per semester. These are usually overnight or weekend retreats. Our fall retreat is November 13-15, 2009 @ Little Pine Island Camp in Comstock Park.
YOUTH RALLIES in our diocese occur twice yearly. The JOY Rally is in the fall and Shine is in the spring.
