The IHM Women’s Guild would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the volunteers that made this year’s Holiday Art’s and Craft Show a success. Without the commitment and tireless efforts of each and every one of you, it would not be possible to bring this event to the Parish and community each year.
Women's Guild
Welcome. If you are a woman reading this, you are, by virtue of that blessing, a member of the IHM Women’s Guild.
Dictionary.com defines a guild as “an organization of persons with related interests or goals, especially one formed for mutual aid and protection.”
So what does the IHM Women’s Guild do? We are a group (“organization”) of women (“persons with related interests or goals”) that plan and support activities for the women of the Parish. It is fair and honest to say the Guild exists for the “mutual aid and protection” of our members and the Parish, as whole. We sponsor the Annual Holiday Craft Show held at IHM each year and the Guild we use revenue from that event to provide programming, events, and financial support to a wide variety of groups within the Parish, including: Women’s Bible Study, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a new refrigerator for the Parish Center; Music Ministry Programs; and the Hearts and Hands Campaign. Events we have hosted for the women of the Parish include the Fall Potluck, Chicago Bus Trip, Women’s Advent Service, Mother/Daughter Brunch, Card Parties, Spring Luncheon, & the Ann Arbor Art Fair Bus Trip.
Please feel free to contact any of the Guild board members if you have questions or if you would like to get involved in any of activities. Check this page or the Parish website for updates on our upcoming events. Blessings.
