Join us!
We are looking for men and women, even teens, who are interested in making the IHM website all it can be. If you work in technology, or marketing - great! If you are just a person who enjoys using the internet
or social media, join us. If you are a person constantly frustrated because nothing with a cord ever works right for you - we need your perspective too! We meet the first Tuesday of each month in the All Purpose Room (Basement) from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Contact Steve Willison at

Use the Help Center
We are pleased to announce a new system for getting help on the website faster and more efficiently. Under the resources menu on the website, you will see a new menu item called "Help!" that will take you to our new HELP CENTER. On that page, we have answers to frequently asked questions and also the ability to fill out a support ticket. No longer will all questions go to one place. Instead, your support ticket will be routed to different members of the Technology Committee who have an understanding of the area in which you are having a problem. This will spread out the workload, and hopefully get your problems solved quicker. In addition, there will be a paper trail for both your problem and the solution if this problem occurs again. Here's how it works:
- Click "New Support Ticket"
- Select whether YOU are a site administrator, an author or IHM staff person, or a website user.
- Tell us what the problem is including choosing a category for the problem and setting your level of urgency. (You can even attach a document or photo to send with the ticket.)
Once you click "create a new ticket" at the bottom of the form, it will be sent to a committee member who has agreed to help with your category of problem. You will also get a receipt with a ticket number for tracking and the name of the person who will help you. You can expect to be contacted by that person, shortly (but maybe not immediately) for a plan on how to fix the problem.
It is important to remember, however, that our website, and this new Help Center, is entirely run by volunteer fellow Parishioners. This is not a professional IT staff. We do not have anyone at Immaculate Heart of Mary who is paid to maintain the website or troubleshoot technology problems. This is nothing more than Parishioners volunteering their time to help out fellow Parishioners. So when you make these support requests, please be patient and understanding that this is no one's full time job.
That is why this system is in place for everyone and everything. If a teacher's computer breaks, or a ministry chair has a problem with their web page, or grandma can't seem to log in - this is the way to get help. It's our hope it will work better for you - and for us.
Thank you for utilizing this new system. It is our hope that improved communications within the Parish through the website will deepen all of our faith.
"The question confronting the Church today is not any longer whether the man in the street can grasp a religious message, but how to employ the communications media so as to let him have the full impact of the Gospel message." - JOHN PAUL II
