Home and School
Home and School is an active group of concerned parents, teachers and staff. Our purpose is to support the school and enhance the educational opportunities of the students. An effective way to be involved with your child's school is to volunteer with Home and School. Maybe you haven’t seen us but we have been busy working to make IHM a better place. Here are just some of the great things that we have accomplished already this year:
- Threw a very successful and fun auction that raised enough money for all the classrooms to get new Interactive Projectors
- Received and treated families in a warm and friendly way at the teacher “Meet and Greet” and “Welcome Back Coffee”
- Served teachers and staff to a well deserved lunch during Catholic Schools Week
- Hosted fun and highly anticipated socials for our 7th & 8th graders and CCD students
- Helped our students to become authors by publishing their stories
- Co-ordinated a service project collecting warm clothes, blankets and other necessities for those in need
- Encouraged spiritual and faith development into the classroom
We’ve been able to do this because of our great parent volunteers! A huge thank you goes out to all that have helped.
You make a difference.
Please consider joining one of our many committees. Look for our Spring newsletter for more details and
openings.

involved in school, children go farther in school and the schools they go to are better”- from the book “A New Generation of Evidence: The Family Is Critical to Student Achievement”.
